Mentioned above is one of the thousands of testimonials we have gone through when we look into the results of hair transplant patients.
The era we are in today is purely based on technology. Technology and Research have changed the way hair transplants were done in the early days.
Gone are the days when patchy, prominently visible marks, were a guaranteed side effect of hair transplants. Heavy research and rigorous practices have evolved the hair transplant procedures to a different horizon.
Technology Changed Everything:
With state of the art technology and decades of experience, hair transplant results last for a lifetime and come with almost no side effects.
For this reason, people are getting more aligned to having a hair transplant to fix their shedding problem.
This article will help you understand the results of a hair transplant, what to expect, and the types of procedures.
Is Hair Transplant Permanent?
After your hair follicles are grafted into areas where hair thinning or patch is prominent, it takes about a week or so for your skin to heal. During the initial phase of recovery, It’s normal for some of your hair to fall out for the first three months after the procedure.
Healing can take somewhere between 6 to 12 months. But once the healing process is complete, the transplanted follicles begin to grow hair that will fill out the bald patches on your scalp. in-fact, your hair will continue to grow as you get older.
The movement of the hair follicles is permanent; there’s no way to return them to their previous position. But like the rest of your hair follicles, the transplanted ones have a lifespan. At some point, they may gradually stop producing as much hair as they used to.
Is It Possible That You Could Need Another?
It may be the case that your first hair transplantation procedure won’t be your last.
Some candidates whose doctor will tell that they need multiple “sessions” of transplant surgery to achieve the results they want.
Other candidates are pleased with the results after their first hair transplant has healed and later decide to fill out additional thinning patches on their heads.
